  • Abstract:
In this paper we use a particular adaptive moving mesh finite volume method to solve Burgerproblem with a small diffusion term. It is well known that the solution of such problem is a wave that spreads and develops a steep front. The main difficulty with the numerical solution of this problem is the computation of this propagating steep front. The purpose in this paper is to point out the efficiency of the use of adaptive moving mesh finite volume method through some comparisons between exact and numerical solutions of this particular problem.
