L’objectif de cette étude est de décrire les différents facteurs qui influencent le choix de formation et les risques qui y sont liés en termes de difficultés d’insertion professionnelle. L’étude a porté sur une population de demandeurs d’emploi inscrits à l’Agence Nationale Pour l’Emploi (ANPE) à Lomé. Les théories de référence retenues exposent les stratégies de choix de formation et, en aval, les réactions qu’on observe lors des tentatives de transition du système éducatif à la vie professionnelle. 256 demandeurs d’emploi ont participé à l’enquête et les résultats indiquent une relation entre les difficultés d’insertion professionnelle et les choix non adéquats de formation faits en amont.

Abstract:

The aim in view by this study consists in describing the various factors that influence academic study choices and the related risks in terms of employability difficulties. To achieve this objective, this research focused on a population of job seekers registered at the National Agency for the Promotion of Employment (NAE). Theories of reference selected outline the strategies used to make academic study choices and downstream reactions observed when moving from283academic studies to occupational field. 256 job seekers participated in the survey and the results indicate a relationship between employability difficulties and non-strategic formation choices.Keys words: academic studies, psychological reactance, employability.
