LE PEUPLEMENT DU BASSIN DU CONGO ET SON IMPACT : LE CAS DES TEKE ET LEURS VOISINS KONGO ET NGALA AU CONGO-BRAZZAVILLE

Résumé

Le Bassin du Congo qui va du Nil à l’Atlantique est situé au coeur de l’Afrique. Les peuples qui y vivent sont d’authentiques Bantu, dont les Teke du Congo et leurs voisins Kongo et Ngala, aux côtés desquels on trouve d’autres peuples comme les soudanais et les peuples autochtones connus sous le nom désormais bannis de Pygmées. Le peuplement actuel
du Congo Brazzaville s’est fait par des migrations successives. Dans cette dynamique, il y a eu entre Teke, Kongo et Ngala, cohabitation, échanges, brassage, contacts de civilisation, développement des techniques. La double pression exercée sur les Teke au centre du pays (par les Ngala au nord et les Kongo au sud) se manifeste par le recul de ce peuple qui perd
ainsi son hégémonie politique et économique d’antan. Cette étude se penchera donc essentiellement sur l’histoire du peuplement de l’actuel territoire du Congo par les peuples Teke, Kongo et Ngala,qui se retrouvent aujourd’hui à cheval sur le Congo, la RD du Congo et le Gabon, créant ainsi une dynamique humaine en Afrique centrale qui devient un véritable enjeu sous

régional.

Abstract :The Basin of Congo which goes from the Nile to the
Atlantic is located at the heart of Africa. The people who live there are authentic Bantu, among whom we have Teke from Congo and their neighbors Kongo and Ngala, at the sides of whom we find other people like Sudaneses and Autochtones people formerly called Pygmies. The settlement of Congo Brazzaville was done by successive migrations. In this dynamic, there were cohabitation, exchanges, mixing, contacts of
civilizations, development of the techniques among Teke, Kongo and Ngala people. The double pressure used on Teke in the center of the country (by Ngala in north and Kongo in the south), is expressed by the retreat of these people who thus lose their political and economic hegemony which they had. This study will thus focus mainly on the history of the settlement of the current territory of Congo by Teke, Kongo and Ngala people, who are found today repectively in the Republic of Congo, the D R Congo and Gabon, creating a human dynamic in central
Africa which becomes a regional true stake .
