Le présent article se propose d’analyser quelques rites sociaux que l’on rencontre dans une société peu connue au regard des travaux anthropologiques, jusqu’ici effectués, auprès des groupes ethnolinguistiques qui résident dans la partie nord du Congo-Brazzaville. Ainsi qu’en est-il des Babolé-Dioso.Il y a lieu de signaler, cependant, que ces rites concernent surtout les rites de passage, très significatifs parce que marquant les étapes dans le déroulement de la vie d’un individu, de la naissance à la mort en passant par la vieillesse.

Abstract:

The present article aims to analyse some social rites that are observed in a society which is little known so to speak, in the light of anthropological investigations that have been undertaken so far among some ethnolinguistic groups that dwell in the northern part of Congo-Brazzaville. Such is the case of the Babolé-Dioso.However, it is worth pointing out that these rites, basically rites of passage which are very significant in that they allude to the different stages in the life of an individual, from birth to death through old age.
